It has recently come to our attention that one of the major manufacturers and distributors of prescription pet food has issued a voluntary recall for potential excessive levels of Vitamin D.  Nestlé Purina is voluntarily recalling select lots of Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diet Elemental EL dry (both 8-pound and 20-pound bags).
