I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and raised in South Florida. I attended the University of Miami, where I majored in Biology and discovered my passion for veterinary medicine. Prior to applying for veterinary school, I worked as a veterinary technician for 3 years in a small animal general practice. I traded Florida’s beaches for upstate New York’s snowy weather to attend Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Through my vet school experiences, I developed a strong interest in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, and plan to pursue a residency after internship.
During my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, hiking, trying new cuisines, and spending time with my dog, Delilah.
