Born in Galway Ireland, she was trained at the University College Dublin, Ireland. She completed her internship in Los Angeles, CA before completing an Emergency and Critical Care residency with Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey.  Several years later, she completed her Cardiology residency at the University of Madison Wisconsin in 2025. Her interests include cardiac emergencies and arrhythmias.

She lives with her cat, Feta, and food obsessed Labrador, Thumper.
