Sabrina Leventhal, VMD

Staff Veterinarian

Emergency & Hospitalization

Growing up in the New York City suburbs, I developed a love for animals at a very young age. I pursued a degree in animal science at the University of Delaware, where I spent a lot of time working with cows and pigs. After college, I earned a Master’s In Laboratory Animal Science from Drexel University. Following graduation, I worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC before attending veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. I initially planned on becoming a lab animal vet; however, during my first semester of veterinary school, I developed an interest in emergency medicine. After veterinary school, I completed a rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading, and spending time outdoors.
